Parents have been responsible for their child's dental care for many years. Our professional team will answer your questions and provide updated information to help.

During this visit, your pediatric team will:

    • Address questions about your child's oral development
    • Provide updated education for brushing your child's teeth and enhancing routine care.
    • Provide dental healthy diet tips.
    • Monitor the functional development of your child's oral condition
  • Parents will be responsible for their child's oral health for many years

We recommend visits every six months for your child so the team can check for normal growth and oral function.

    • X- rays to check for cavities not seen by visual examination
    • Visual inspection of gums, teeth and jaw function teeth
    • Professional cleaning gently removes any buildup of tartar
    • Application of fluoride to strengthen enamel and prevent decay
    • Screen for breathing disorders

Regular examinations ensure adequate home care. We speak with parents about the importance of good oral hygiene habits.

  • Sealants

Application of sealants is a simple, non-invasive procedure designed to prevent cavities from forming in the grooves of molars. The protective coating fills the grooves. It hardens quickly with the help of blue light. Sealants effectively prevent the build-up of plaque and bacteria from forming in the tooth's crevices, keeping these surfaces free of decay.

  • Fillings and Crowns

    White Filings

Treating decay in children's teeth is essential to protect the emerging adult teeth below the gums. We exclusively use white fillings for all small cavities left by removing the decay. White fillings are strong and look just like the natural tooth, leaving no evidence of decay.

If a cavity is extensive, a crown may be the best option to strengthen and protect the tooth.

We proudly offer two options for crowns:

    Silver Crowns

These shiny silver caps cover the tooth and provide optimal protection when large amounts of decay have put the tooth at risk.

    White Crowns

These natural-looking solutions to a tooth at risk provide complete protection sealing the tooth beneath the cap.

  • Silver Diamine Fluoride -SDF

The SDF treatment has been used in Japan for many years. It is a liquid used to halt dental decay and prevent its progression. SDF is a non-invasive treatment that also relieves sensitivity.

SDF is "painted' onto the decayed area with a small brush. While this conservative treatment effectively halts decay, it does stain the area black. SDF avoids the need for invasive procedures of anesthetics or drilling the decay out of the tooth.

  • Laser lip and tongue tie release

Tongue and lip tie releases are necessary to:

    Relieve breastfeeding difficulty

    Improve speech,

Improve the ability to clean the teeth

    Decrease the risk of decay

    To relieve muscle tension.

All releases take minutes with a laser.

Using a laser to release tongue and lip ties has benefits that work well with babies and children.

    • It is quick
    • No damage to surrounding tissue, no bleeding
    • Disinfects wounds
